Services Provided

The Utility Billing Department processes all utility bills for gas, water, sewer, and garbage for customers served by the Baker Utility System. This department assists customers with problems they might have with their bill or any questions concerning the City of Baker in general. Payments are collected and updated daily for gas, water, sewer, and garbage. We offer bank drafts for interested customers and discounted rates on water, sewer, and garbage to customers over 65 living inside the city limits. The Utility Department has Baker phone books to give to new customers and a welcome bag from the Chamber of Commerce as well. This department is listed first in the phone book so we usually direct all calls to the right department. New construction in Baker gets the gas, water, and sewer taps ran through the Utility Department.
